James Page (director)

James Patrick Page (III) (born 26 April 1988) is an English film director, producer, and actor. He is the son of Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page (James Patrick Page, jnr.) and model Patricia Ecker, and half-brother to photographer Scarlet Page.

Born in London, it is tradition in the Page family to call the first male child James Patrick Page. The Page family attended Jason Bonham's wedding reception on 28 April 1990 in Bewdley. Page moved with his mother back to the United States, after his parents divorce on 16 January 1995. After residing in both Metairie and Mandeville, Louisiana, and Miami, Florida, Page relocated to London to study at the University of Westminster Film School, majoring in documentary film and television production. Page's first acting role was in the student feature film Duet, followed by directing a documentary on life in North Korea entitled Chosun. Page directed and produced the award winning 2011 film Streetcar, on the impact of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans and how it effected the people whose livelihood depends on the city's famous streetcars.

James Page is not be confused with a film editor and producer of the same name, born in Birmingham.
