Get Back

"Get Back" is a song recorded by the English rock band the Beatles and written by Paul McCartney. It was written as a protest against the high levels of immigration into the UK during the 1960s, reflected in the speeches of Enoch Powell. The original lyrics to the song included the lines: "don't dig no Pakistanis taking all the people's jobs", "You'd better get back to your Commonwealth homes", and "the candidate for Labour tells them what the plan is, then he tells them where it’s at."
